The PCLP Team at the Stollery Children’s Hospital provides consultative services to inpatients at the hospital presenting with comorbid physical and psychiatric symptoms. The team consists of child psychiatrists and nurses who specialize in mental health care; allied health professionals are also on the team and may be involved based on the psychiatric assessment.
MAAST provides assessment and stabilization for children admitted to the Stollery Children’s Hospital with underlying acute mental health and/or addiction concerns that do not require immediate psychiatric care. The team includes Mental Health Therapists and Addiction Counselors.
