Core therapists include the child’s family, school and community network in treatment. Families are matched with the appropriate level of service, with the possibility of “stepping up” if needed. “Stepping up” occurs when the care team decides, together with the family, that a more intensive program would be suitable. This could mean CASA House, CASA Classrooms or a day program.
Core also offers therapeutic groups to families accessing or waiting for Core’s services. Group therapy can be used to effectively treat a variety of concerns, and provides camaraderie and learnings from others going through similar struggles.
